Santa Ana is perhaps best known as a city at a junction of major highways in Northern Sonora. But the city is much more than a transit point.

It has a beautiful gothic-style church,Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, a campus of the University of Sonora, a mission church at Santa Ana viejo, and other interesting places to see.

And in additions, there are events to experience in Santa Ana, like its annual fiestas in July and its homage to the Virgin of Guadalupe in December.
